Instructions Classic Ceviche Recipe

6 oz basa fish

2 oz lime juice

2 oz leche de tigre

1/2 oz sliced red onions

1 tsp cilantro

2 pieces sweet potato

1 oz choclo

1 oz canchita

  1. Make the sweet potato 🍠: Set a steamer in a small pot and add the potato. Cover and steam over medium heat until barely softened, 15-20 minutes. Remove and let cool slightly. Discard the peel, then cut the sweet potato into slices.
  2. Cut fish into medium cubes, slice the onion & chop cilantro.
  3. In a chilled bowl, add the fish, lime juice, leche de tigre, sliced onions, and cilantro and mix together. Let stand for 30 seconds.
  4. To serve, place two sweet potato slices to the bowl, ceviche mixture right in the center, then add choclo & canchita on top.
  5. That’s it!
